I've heard of escape rooms, do they lock you in? Am I trapped in a room? Can I get out?

No, no and yup! You are never trapped, restrained, locked in or made to do anything, and you can always get out.

This escape room is much more of a puzzle room, and the escape is more about solving a puzzle than actually "getting out." You can always leave at any time. It is fun and friendly and great for families!

How long does it take to go through a room?

Each room has a 45-60 min time limit, however, if you all work together, you can get out in less time!

How old do I have to be to do a puzzle room?

We recommend ages 13 to infinity! The room is appropriate for the whole family and includes hard puzzles, a time limit and tasks that often take more than one person to figure out.

We are working on creating a version that is good for younger kids, however with anyone under the age of 13, we do require an adult in the room.

You can print our wavier a head of time to have a parent of guardian sign for anyone under 18 here.

Do we have to have a reservation or can we just show?

We do prefer that reservations are made in advance. However, we can accept same day reservations depending on availability! The best way to find out is by giving us a call.

When should we arrive for our room?

We recommend at least 15 mins before your start time. This gives your group time to put stuff in lockers, use the restroom, and anything else you need to do before your game begins.

Our rooms do run on a tight schedule and we like to start them on their start time, so we appreciate groups who arrive early and are ready to go!

Where do we park?

Since we’re located right in the middle of beautiful downtown Stillwater, MN. Street parking is available throughout downtown and we are conveniently located across from a park ramp!

We recommend allowing a little extra time for parking, especially when the weather is nice!

Are the rooms private or will we be sharing with strangers?

Although we love the idea of making friends, all of our rooms are private when the minimum number is met for that room.

If you do not meet the minimum number with your group, we do have a waitlist option so we can try to pair you up with another small group.

Do you sell gift certificates?

We do! If you click on the book now button, you can purchase a gift certificate for any of our rooms!

Do you have options for larger groups? What do we do if we have a group of more than 10 who wants to go through?

Yes! We have a few options for large groups including an event space rental for food and beverages. Click the button below for more information!

Currently our Cave room can hold up to 15 people and Connolly’s Office can hold up to 8. We do recommend smaller group for optimal experiences!

For larger groups, we suggest splitting into smaller groups of 6 to 8. Some guests rent our event spaces for fun team building exercises or set out snacks.

Others have set out to explore downtown Stillwater while the other team goes through an escape room! An added bonus with splitting up the group is that you get to compete for the best time!

Are the rooms scary?

Although our rooms have a few little jump scares in them, the overall experience is not meant to be scary.

Connolly’s Office does a few low light situations, but a flash light is provided.

The Cave is in almost complete darkness with flashlights being the primary source of lighting for those participating and as with any good cave, there may be falling objects!

What are the rules for people under the influence?

As much as we all love a good drink now and again, please do not participate in our games if you are under the influence of alcohol, any mind altering substances, or any other substances that may affect your senses, reflexes, or coordination.

Our room runners may refuse to allow any patrons into the room without any explanation or refund.

However, afterwards you can celebrate your victory or forget your loss in either the Velveteen Rabbit or The Lumberjack, all located within our building!

Are any of your games wheelchair accessible?

Our largest room (The Cave) has the best accessibility for wheelchairs. Connolly’s Offices only has one area with a small step, so as long as the group is small, that room should work as well. Unfortunately, Off Track is quite narrow.
